月牙泉位于敦煌市西南5公里处，是一处神奇的漫漫沙漠中的湖水奇观。鸣沙山下，泉水形成一湖，在沙丘环抱之中，酷似一弯新月而得名月牙泉。月牙泉，古称沙井，俗名药泉，自汉朝起即为“敦煌八景”之一，得名“月泉晓彻”。月牙泉南北长近100米，东西宽约25米，泉水东深西浅，最深处约5米，弯曲如新月，因而得名。一湾清泉，涟漪萦回，碧如翡翠。泉在流沙中，干旱不枯竭，风吹沙不落，蔚为奇观。历代文人学士对这一独特的山泉地貌、沙漠奇观称赞不已。月牙泉因“泉映月而无尘”、“亘古沙不填泉，泉不涸竭”而成为奇观。“晴空万里蔚兰天，美绝人寰月牙泉，银山四面沙环抱，一池清水绿漪涟”。 月牙泉有四奇：月牙之形千古如旧、恶境之地清流成泉、沙山之中不淹于沙、古潭老鱼食之不老。去鸣沙山月牙泉游玩以傍晚、黄昏时分最佳。
敦煌莫高窟

莫高窟位于甘肃省敦煌市东南的鸣沙山东麓崖壁上。石窟群长约1，600米，高50米，上下5层，鳞次栉比，密如蜂房。据记载，莫高窟始建于前秦建元二年（366年），因敦煌是古代著名的丝绸之路上的名城，来往商旅、王公贵族和大小官吏等都在此修建佛窟，到唐武则天时，已有1，000余窟龛。现尚存十六国、北魏、西魏、北周、隋、唐、五代、宋、西夏、元各代洞窟492个，壁画45，000多平方米，彩塑2，000多座，唐宋木构建筑5座，莲花柱石和铺地花砖数千块，是一处集建筑、绘画、雕塑于一体的综合性艺术大画廊。

泸定桥坐落在泸定县城大渡河上，为全国重点文物保护单位。 公元1705元，康熙皇帝为了祖国的统一，解决汉区通往藏区道路上的梗阻，下令修建大渡河上的第一座桥梁，经过一年的修建，大桥于公元1706元建成，康熙皇帝取“泸水”（即大渡河旧称）、“平定”（平判西藏准噶尔之乱）之意，御笔亲书“泸定桥”三个大字，从此泸定铁索桥便成为连接藏汉交通的纽带，泸定县也因此而得名，这块御碑如今还屹立在西桥头。 泸定桥的桥长103米，宽3米，13根铁链固定在两岸桥台落井里，9根作底链，4根分两侧作扶手，共有12164个铁环相扣，全桥铁件重40余吨。 两岸桥头堡为木结构古建筑，风貌独特赤我国国内独有。自清以来，此桥为四川入藏的重要通道和军事要津。1935年5月29日，中国工农红军长征途经这里飞夺泸定桥而使该桥闻

天坛大佛座落在香港大屿山木鱼峰顶，是当今世界上最大露天青铜坐像。佛像身高23米，连莲花座及基座总高约34米。重250吨，由202块青铜焊接而成。重5吨的佛面，在浇注时加入约2千克黄金，更添光彩。大佛造型集云岗、龙门佛像和唐代雕塑技术之精华，庄重慈祥。坐南朝北，右手齐胸屈举，五根手指平伸，示“无畏印”，代表拔除痛苦；左手下垂脚上，反掌向外，指端微微向下，称“与愿印”，寓意施予快乐，表现了大雄大力与大慈大悲。被誉为尖端科技与东方艺术的结晶。从木鱼山脚登上天坛底座，有260级石级。底座仿北京天坛圆丘而建，故名。内部结构分3层：功德堂、展览厅和纪念堂。功德堂立有捐款者姓名的石碑。兴建大佛的构想缘起于1973年，当年并开始筹划。1981年12月26日正式成立筹建委员会，专职研究筹建工作，包括审定佛

乐山大佛地处四川省乐山市东，位于乐山市城东岷江、青衣江、大渡河三江汇合处，北距成都160余公里，是依凌云山栖霞峰临江峭壁凿造的一尊弥勒坐像，始凿于唐开元元年（公元713年），历时90余年方建成，建高71米，有"山是一尊佛，佛是一座山"之称，是世界上最大的石刻大佛。
乐山大佛头与山齐，足踏大江，双手抚膝，通高70余米，头高约15米，头项上可置圆桌。耳长7米，眼长3.3米，耳朵中间可站两条大汉。肩宽28米，可做篮球场。它的脚背上还可围坐百余人，是一尊真正的巨人。大佛顶上的头发，共有螺髻1021个，这是1962年维修时，以粉笔编号数清的。远看发髻与头部浑然一体，实则以石块逐个嵌就。单块螺髻根部裸露处，有明显的拼嵌裂隙，无沙浆粘接。螺髻表面抹灰两层，内层为石灰，厚度各为5－15毫米。199
